Pilgrimage Chaplain's Profile- Rev. Bishop Chito Tagle,DD,STD

Rev. Bishop Chito Tagle,DD,STD
Diocese of Imus

His intelligence never ceases to amaze us.
He was appointed one of the two representatives of the Churches in Asia to the 30-theologian member Holy See’s International Theological Commission in 1997. He also served as a key resource person to the Federation of Asian Bishop’s Conferences and the Synod of Asian Bishops in Rome.

But more than his intelligence, he is constantly surprising us with his quick wit and sense of humor.

Above all, he can bring even the most sensitive of topics down to the level of common people-- a level we can all understand and relate to.

Bishop Tagle has a down-to-earth way of relating to listeners of The Word Exposed. In a soothing and humble tone, he explains readings and the Gospel each Sunday in a manner that is easy to understand and relate to. Thank you so much for airing The Word Exposed in the format it is being shown and with Bishop Tagle as the medium. Listening to him and his message on TV or in You Tube quiets and feeds the soul.
